Lopinot Cave Exploration & Rappel

Join us in further developing Lopinot’s amazing tourism product. The residents of the Lopinot have done a fantastic job in developing their cultural and natural heritage as an ecotourism product. Paria Springs is joining forces with them to assist in developing their eco adventure product. We will have four main areas of foci; spelunking (caving), rappelling, rock climbing and mountain biking.
Throughout 2017 we will be doing lots of exploring in Lopinot Valley mainly around four caves while seeking out other adventure opportunities along the way.
The Bushman has already done a preliminary look at the Martin Gomez Cave and did a test rappel of the cliff outside it. On February 11th we wish to return with a willing crew. First mission will be to place bolts in the cave for the placement of ropes to be able to make crossing a rock fall safe, then to clean the cliff of bush so that we can place 3 rappel lines and search for possible rock climbing. This will also include the creation of a trail to get to the top of the rappel lines.
Cost for the day is $150 (and sweat) per person, which includes riverside lunch and some surprises just for our peeps.
There is virtually no hike to get to the cave.

Cancellations made between 48 to 24 hours prior to the event incur a 50% fee.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the event incur full fee
