Experience deep Central Trinidad where you visit the main city Chaguanas and its lively fresh produce market & bazaar street. Get the chance to enjoy some of the tastiest produce in the world!

Hindu Temple and Statue Experience

Tour Central Trinidad to visit the 85’ Hanuman Murti, the largest such murti outside of India before going on to the Temple in the Sea, a Hindu pilgrimage site built by one man, Siewdass Sadhu, over a period of 25 years is a testament to his religion. After being denied the opportunity to build the temple on land near the water, he decided to build the temple in the sea.

Enjoy the local cuisine

We stop for you to sample Indian Delicacies (not included in the cost). The famous “roti” – a culinary delight and a MUST while visiting Trinidad! Your taste buds are tickled by one of the most popular Trinidad dishes, it consists of a crepe-like bread filled with curried meat or veggies. Delicious! Get ready to dive in!

What To Wear and Carry

  • Clothing: comfortable clothing, generally normal sportswear, swimwear
  • Footwear: sneakers and other comfortable footwear.  No high/pointy heals
  • The Hanuman Statue is considered a sacred site, so the following rules apply:
    • Dress code – Your chest and legs should be covered. No tight clothing
    • No consumption of meat or alcohol is allowed on the premises
    • Photography is not permitted without permission
