    What to Expect

Enjoy the best of Gasparee Island with this 2-in-1 package that combines the adventure of Gasparee Caves with a relaxing afternoon at Bombshell on the beach and the salt water pool on the beautiful island of Gaspar Grande.

What you will Do and See

Take a scenic boat ride to Gaspar Grande

Take a 10-minute scenic boat ride  from Island Property Home Owners Marina in Chaguaramas to Gaspar Grande.  Relax as the cool breeze brushes against your face as you pass by the islands along the Chaguaramas coast.

Take a hike to the opening of  the caves

On arriving at Gaspar Grande, you start an easy uphill hike that will take about 25 minutes. It is fairly steep so pace yourself.  Along the way you will learn of the island’s human and natural history of the island.

    Descend into the Caves

After a short rest, you will enter the cave from the top, and descend a well-lit metal staircase which leads to the extraordinary cave system 100 feet below that is filled with stalactites and stalagmites, sinkholes and a crystal pool that shimmers like glass, reflecting the colours of the light that filters through the cave.

Here the cave formations are the best in Trinidad and Tobago with some shaped like dinosaurs and others like angels. You will spend up to one hour in the cave.

Enjoy the Beach and the Pool

After leaving the caves you will be transported by boat to Bombshell Bay on the Eastern side of the island to escape from the ordinary where you can spend a sunny afternoon enjoying all the facilities on offer including a private beach, salt water swimming pool, tennis courts and changing rooms.

Relax at the private golden sand beach which is gently caressed by the calm waters of the sheltered bay.  Or take a plunge into the salt water pool; or relax poolside at the picnic tables where you can have a meal, some drinks and the good old fashioned Trini lime.

  • Trip to Gasparee Cave and then day pass at Bombshell Bay
Firstly, arranging this tour was easy using this site. I was able to get all the info i needed with ease and i was able to have all my questions answered in a timely manner. On the day of the tour Roxanne and Phillip were quite mannerly, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There was a bit of waiting as the boat had to make two trips but it was worth it. I can see myself arranging another tour with Destination T&T
